Scholarships & Grants
I. Higher Education Sprout Project Scholarship
- Regulations for the Undergraduate Scholarship under the Higher Education Sprout Project, Department of Life Sciences.
- Application Period: Applications are accepted at the beginning of each semester according to the announced schedule.
- Eligibility:
(1) Undergraduate students (freshman to senior) enrolled in the Department of Life Sciences.
(2) Applicants must have an average academic score of 80 or above in the previous semester, a conduct grade of 80 or above, a physical education grade of 70 or above (if enrolled in PE courses), and no disciplinary record of demerits or more serious penalties. - Quota: 2 students per grade level.
- Award Amount: NT$5,000 per recipient.
II. Professor Mai Ai-Tang Financial Aid Grant
- Implementation Guidelines for the Professor Mai Ai-Tang Financial Aid Grant.
- Application Period: Applications are accepted at the beginning of each semester according to the announced schedule.
- Eligibility:
(1) Undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Life Sciences.
(2) Applicants must provide proof of low-income household status or financial hardship.
(3) Applicants must have an average academic score of 70 or above in the previous semester, a conduct grade of 80 or above, a physical education grade of 70 or above (if enrolled in PE courses), and no disciplinary record of demerits or more serious penalties. - Quota: 1 student per grade level.
- Award Amount: NT$5,000 per recipient.
III. Yang Feng-Cheng and Kuo Shih-Te Scholarships
- Application Guidelines for the Yang Feng-Cheng Memorial Scholarship、Application Guidelines for the Kuo Shih-Te Memorial Scholarship (Donated by Alumni of the Class of 1982).
- The number of scholarships awarded is determined by the annual income and accrued interest of the fund.
- Application Period: Applications are accepted at the beginning of the second semester of each academic year according to the announced schedule.
- Eligibility:
(1) Undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Life Sciences. Students on leave of absence or extended study are not eligible.
(2) Priority will be given to students with financial need and outstanding academic performance.
(3) Applicants must have an average academic score of 70 or above in the previous semester, a conduct grade of 80 or above, a physical education grade of 70 or above (if enrolled in PE courses), and no disciplinary record of demerits or more serious penalties. - Quota: 4 recipients in total.
- Award Amount: NT$5,000 per recipient.
