1. Department Office Add/Drop Registration Schedule & Eligibility:

Department Office Course Registration (restricted eligibility) (02/17 09:00 – 02/18 17:00):

Applicable to:

• Winter transfer students (must provide admission notice)

• Students approved for early reinstatement (must provide relevant proof of early return)

• Graduate students admitted for early enrollment (must provide admission/registration proof)

Special-case course registration (02/26 09:00 – 02/27 17:00):

Priority is given to students affected by:

• Course changes (course cancellation, instructor change, or schedule adjustment)

• Graduation impact or failure to meet minimum credit requirements (below 9 credits)

Other add/drop priorities will follow instructor approval and departmental regulations.

* Add/drop and lottery registration are limited by classroom capacity and are not based on “first come, first served.”

2. If you do not fall into the above categories, please participate in the Phase 3 course selection lottery (02/13–02/14; until 02/17 17:00) or online add/drop system. If students drop courses or instructors increase quotas, there is still a chance to enroll in desired courses.

Please refer to the Registration Division Course Selection Announcement (updated each semester, available in both Chinese and English) and the Course Selection FAQ. The process follows the official “course lottery registration” and “online add/drop” system.

3. Online Add/Drop Application (02/19 08:30 – 02/25 12:00):

Eligibility: All students requiring add/drop, subject to instructor approval.

Procedure: Log in to the course information and registration system, and submit add/drop requests via course search or advanced search.

Notes: Students may not submit duplicate applications for the same course. If the instructor is not yet assigned, the course cannot be selected. Please contact the department office for assistance.
