Coursera Platform Access List Announcement for the 2nd Semester of Academic Year 113

1) Operation process: Apply via online form (closed on 2024.12.30) → selection of eligible students → announcement of approved list in early January on the department website → course selection during Phase 2 and Phase 3 (2/4–2/8, 2/13–2/25) via the NCKU course registration system.
2) List of students granted Coursera access (Department of Life Sciences)(Attachment-2) (total: 32 students).
3) Selection order follows university regulations:
① Priority: Sophomore → Senior → Junior → Freshman
② Order of application submission time
③ Eligibility: must be an enrolled domestic undergraduate student in 113-2 (as courses will be integrated into in-person instruction)
④ To maximize resource efficiency, Coursera account access is limited to one allocation per student during their study period, with each account valid for one semester.
⑤ Approved students may enroll in up to 6 credits of Coursera-related courses per semester; credits beyond this limit are subject to departmental approval.
⑥ Course grading methods are determined by the instructor (additional assignments or exams may be required).
⑦ Coursera courses for this semester (113-2) will open for selection after Phase 2 (02/04). Further updates will be announced on the university’s Bilingual Education Center website.
⑤ Approved students may enroll in up to 6 credits of Coursera-related courses per semester; credits beyond this limit are subject to departmental approval.
⑥ Course grading methods are determined by the instructor (additional assignments or exams may be required).
⑦ Coursera courses for this semester (113-2) will open for selection after Phase 2 (02/04). Further updates will be announced on the university’s Bilingual Education Center website.
4) The department has selected 3 Coursera courses that are recognized as departmental elective credits for graduation requirements. Students are encouraged to enroll.
5) Non-department Coursera courses:
1) Courses listed in the NCKU Coursera course section are generally recognized as non-department elective credits.
2) Other Coursera courses are for personal enrichment only and cannot be counted toward Life Sciences Department graduation credits.
