Distinguished Professor Tseng Shu-Fen of the Department of Life Sciences Invited to Speak at the 2024 Global Women Scientists Breakfast Meeting

The Chinese Chemical Society participates annually in the Global Women Scientists Breakfast Meeting, an initiative launched in 2019 by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), to establish career planning and mentorship opportunities for women scientists, female postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate and graduate students.

This year, the meeting was held on February 27 at the Future Museum of National Cheng Kung University. The theme of the event was “Catalyzing Diversity in Science” (https://spec.ntu.edu.tw/20240227-semi-chem/). During the session, Professor Tseng Shu-Fen shared her research topics and how teamwork has supported her research development and career growth. She encouraged women in science and technology to remain committed to their original passion for research, even amid external changes and challenges.
